Havaparty in Havasu!

Lake Havasu City might be the home of the “ London Bridge”, but more importantly it is the home to thousands of Spring Breakers during the month of March.

Centrally located in the southwest, and close to the cities of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, Lake Havasu City is a natural for students from Nevada, California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Do not be fooled however, as students come from as far away as Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and the Dakotas, and all are here to party, dance, tan, and enjoy the complete package that the lake and the surrounding area has to offer.

The Lake itself is nestled between a breathtaking backdrop of mountains and the downtown area of Lake Havasu City, and with over 45 miles of navigatable waterways the Lake is the place to party during the daylight hours. As for on the lake, there are numerous, and I mean dozens, of boat and jet ski rentals so do some investigating to who has the best deals, look for coupons in your hotel lobby and score some type of watercraft. . . or your other option is to head to the back of the London Bridge Resort and hop aboard the party boat sponsored in part by Kokomo’s.

After securing some type of water transportation you are set for a day of fun and sun on the lake, and the place to head is Copper Canyon – where hundreds of boats drop anchor and literally tie up together to create the world’s largest party barge . . and it is truly a sightseeing spectacular.

After a long day of partying in the sun it’s time to head back to your motel room, (that is unless you are staying on a houseboat), and rooms are plentiful with over 2000 individual rooms available. However, if you want to stay centrally located to the spring break action, check out the rooms at the Nautical Inn, Quality Inn, (formerly the Ramada), or the world famous London Bridge Resort, all of which warmly welcome breakers.

Once you have rested, and the night settles in, it is time to party the night away. Here your options are plentiful, and you can party with thousands at the largest club in the southwestern United States, KOKOMO’S, or tone it down just a notch and hit some of the local bars, one of these being a great party place, the Naked Turtle, located at the Nautical Inn.

So no matter if it is day or night Lake Havasu City has everything for the perfect Spring Break –boating – jet skis – houseboats – pontoons – water skis – tanning – night clubs – local bars – restaurants – fast food –pizza – tons of rooms, from budget to lavish – great scenery – and an overall attitude all breakers will love.
